Privacy Policy
What Winnings stores, syncs, and shares — in plain language.
The short version. Winnings has no account system, shows no ads, and does not track you. The numbers, dates, tickets, profiles, and settings you create are stored on your device. We, the developer, do not collect analytics, advertising, location, contacts, payment-card, or lottery-account data.
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy describes how the Winnings iOS application (the “App”), published by Britech Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information. Winnings is an entertainment and number-generation tool. It does not sell lottery tickets, accept wagers, redeem prizes, or operate a lottery. The App is intended for adults.
2. Data you create
Winnings stores the numbers, dates, generated tickets, profile names, settings, and history you create so the App can restore your workspace. The App does not use a developer-operated account system and does not need your location, contacts, advertising identifier, payment-card details, or lottery-account credentials.
This locally stored content includes:
- Saved numbers, special dates, generated tickets, and ticket history.
- App settings such as language, draw-refresh frequency, and profile selection.
- Purchase entitlement status reported by Apple’s StoreKit.
3. Storage and sync
Most app data is stored on your device. If you enable or use sync features, eligible app data may sync through Apple’s iCloud services within your own Apple Account. Diagnostics may be generated locally to help troubleshoot app behavior, and are only shared if you choose to share them.
- Deleting the App or clearing app data may remove local history.
- iCloud data is subject to your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
- StoreKit purchase records are managed by Apple.
4. Network requests, exports, and sharing
To keep historical lottery information current, the App contacts public draw-data sources, and it uses Apple’s StoreKit for purchases. These requests carry standard technical information (such as your IP address) to the relevant service, which handles it under its own policies. The public draw-data domains the App may contact are:
data.ny.gov— historical Powerball draw records (NY Open Data).api.musl.com— latest-draw lookup, when available.www.powerball.com— latest-draw fallback, when available.
When you export or share tickets, you decide which file destination or share target receives that data. After you share data outside Winnings, the receiving app or service handles it under its own policies. Exported files are generated on your device and are not uploaded by Winnings.
5. Information we do not collect
As the developer, we do not collect, sell, or share the following:
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and we use no advertising identifier.
- We do not display third-party advertising.
- We do not operate an account system or collect login credentials.
- We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or payment-card details.
- We do not collect lottery-account credentials, because the App never connects to one.
If a future release adds analytics, crash reporting, support uploads, push notifications, accounts, ads, or third-party SDKs, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that release ships.
6. Children’s privacy
Winnings is not directed to children and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App is lottery-adjacent, it is rated and intended for a mature audience. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.
7. Your choices and rights
You can edit saved numbers, remove saved dates, delete history, change profiles, and disable sync-related behavior where available. Because your content lives on your device (and in your own iCloud, if enabled), you remain in control of it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since we do not collect personal information about you as the developer, most requests can be satisfied directly within the App by editing or deleting your content, or by deleting the App. For any privacy question or request, contact us using the details below and we will respond.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy at this URL. Material changes will also be reflected in the App and in our App Store privacy disclosures.
